QATAR Airways around 22/23DEC13 further updated operational schedules for 3 weekly Doha – Johannesburg – Maputo route, which sees Boeing 787-8 aircraft begins operation from 02MAY14. On 21DEC13, Airline Route reported QR is increasing Johannesburg operation from 7 to 10 weekly, while switching to Boeing 787 from 01MAY14. At that time, Maputo service was displaying Boeing 777-300ER operation.
